Nestled in Davagh Forest at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains, the OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory takes advantage of one of the darkest skies in the UK and Ireland. Unlike pure outdoor safaris, this experience combines an outdoor guided laser-pointer tour of the constellations with a high-tech indoor facility. Visitors get the chance to view deep-space objects through a massive 14-inch telescope. Crucially, if the Irish weather decides not to cooperate, the center features brilliant interactive exhibits and virtual reality space tours to save the evening.
