Whales in winter fjords, puffins on summer cliffs

The Guide
Norway offers something no other destination in the Echtra network currently provides: genuine year-round wildlife of extraordinary quality.
Sperm whales surface year-round in Bleik Canyon off Andøya — one of the deepest underwater trenches in Norway, minutes from Andenes harbour. In winter, orcas and humpbacks follow the herring migration into the fjords around Tromsø. In summer, the Bleiksøya bird sanctuary hosts one of Norway’s largest puffin colonies alongside white-tailed eagles and gannets.
The Lofoten Islands — among the most dramatically beautiful archipelagos on earth — offer RIB safaris through fjords, sea eagle encounters, whale watching in the outer islands, and the extraordinary quality of the Arctic midnight sun in June and July.
