Set in the heart of Royal Deeside, Highlands Unbridled offers rugged, challenging rides through the remote Scottish wilderness. Their full-day rides are designed specifically for experienced riders (competent in walk, trot, and canter) who want to experience the true wild nature of the Cairngorms. You will tackle steep ascents, navigate river crossings, and enjoy long, sweeping canters on grassy forest tracks, all while mounted on incredibly sure-footed, barefoot horses perfectly conditioned for the Highland terrain.

Climb through the heather to the 525m summit of Carnferg for panoramic views of Morven and Mount Keen.
Historic Castles & Forests
Canter through the Forest of Birse and ride past the stunning 17th-century Birse Castle ruins.
