The Transformative Power of Light – Southeastern Photographic Society Exhibition

Lisbon by Michael Burris

Southeastern Photographic Society‘s juried exhibition is opening on Thursday October 5th with a reception at 18:00 at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Running until the 2nd of November 2023, the exhibition is on the theme of “The Transformative Power of Light” and images were chosen by Lumiere Gallery Director Tony Casadonte and photographer Kathryn Kolb.

Amongst the selected images is this one, above, of a streetcar at 5AM in Lisbon by Michael Burris.

It’s an image that makes us want to head straight to Portugal and wander its narrow, cobbled streets before daybreak. Michael has captured the feeling of the scene perfectly.
